I debated on leaving a review but decided to so because the lack of compassion that was shown absolutely astounds me. Grief is hard enough in and of itself. To think that you are a burden to someone whose job is to help a family through one of the most difficult times of their life makes it even more painful. I will not be using this funeral homes services in the future nor will I recommend anyone else to do so. I pray that the Lord will show them how to be compassionate in the future for those families who do choose to use them.

Matthew and the team took good care of my family and I during the tragic passing of my brother. They were the opposite of pushy and easily helped us cut costs where we needed to.

Kenneth was great to work with and they absolutely do not price gouge you. It’s refreshing that there are still businesses that don’t inflate everything so they can make a profit. James is the star of the show though. He is an absolutely phenomenal florist. For the negatives, I didn’t realize this was a budget funeral home until after my mom was transferred here from the hospital, no big deal. It’s hit and miss if you get greeted when you walk in. I know they have cameras where they can see the foyer so someone will show up eventually but yeah it might take a few minutes. Their phone etiquette is pretty cut and dry but I’m not sure how one can make that an easier phone call. I’m sure they get dozens of calls about deaths a day so I can see where it becomes more automated instead of personal. The place has everything you need for a nice ceremony but it looks so old and dated. It definitely has a weird smell when you walk in. I had no issues with my ceremony except, as a previous reviewer stated, my mom did not look like herself because she was slouched down with her chin in her chest. The makeup they applied wasn’t over the top or terrible; my mom didn’t wear makeup so that was nice

I've had the pleasure of working with James on bridal florals for a friend's wedding, and he is an absolute genius! He made beautiful arrangements, and was so kind in explaining to us how each piece was constructed. I cannot wait to work with James again in the future, and will be referring everyone I meet to Aulds.

I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone. Our loved one was not given respect nor was our family and friends shown any compassion. We were attendees at our loved one's viewing and our experience was downright terrible due to the lack of professionalism. As soon as you walk in the door of the funeral home, you walk into a large room where, on the left side, there are several chairs. Separating the room is a half wall with several couches in a makeshift lobby area. There were two offices to the right side along with a kitchenette. When we arrived for the 11am family viewing, no one was available to greet us or give any directions or instructions. The offices were empty but there were two doors in the back that were open. You could hear people talking and see some caskets and flowers from the viewpoint of the front door of the building. Some of our family went to inquire if that was the visitation room. They were told it was the "casket room" and saw two bodies covered with sheets that were laying on tables. The doors were then closed. There was no signage or anything stating where anything would be held or where to go. So we sat on the couches and waited for someone to com

My brother recently died, unexpectedly, in Benton. Friends who had used your services recommended you. I dealt with Connie and Kenny and was very pleased by their kindness and professionalism. I was home in Michigan at the time and it gave me a great sense of comfort to know that I could trust your staff.

Thank you for making the unexpected so easy and affordable for my family. We made arrangements with Kenny, from out of state, to pick up my brother from LSU for cremation. He was so helpful arranging the process. Thank you again for your friendly, no pressure, efficient service. Highly recommend!
